TAC Mentorship Program

The Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC) is excited to introduce its pilot Mentorship Program — a new initiative designed to empower members at all stages of their careers.

Whether you're a student, early-career professional, or an experienced industry leader, this program offers a meaningful way to engage with the TAC community, share knowledge, and build lasting professional relationships.

This new initiative aims to:

  • Strengthen connections within the TAC community
  • Provide career support and guidance to members
  • Foster diversity and inclusion within our membership and the broader TAC network
  • Create a culture of learning, collaboration, and mutual support

The mentorship platform will connect mentors and mentees based on shared interests and areas of expertise. The pilot program will run for one year, after which its impact will be assessed to determine the future of the initiative.

Through a user-friendly online platform hosted by PDL Mentoring, mentors and mentees will be matched based on shared interests, career goals, and areas of expertise, creating opportunities for personalized and impactful conversations.

Please note: This program is designed to offer career and professional development support, not technical training or mentorship.

Why Participate?

  • Mentors: Give back to the tunnelling community, share your insights, and help shape the next generation of professionals.
  • Mentees: Gain access to valuable career advice, expand your network, and learn from experienced members in your field.

No matter where you are in your professional journey, this program is a chance to grow — and help others do the same.

We look forward to building a stronger, more connected TAC community together!
